What is Bowen Therapy?
According to the medicalnewstoday.com, Bowen therapy involves gently stretching and manipulating the soft connective tissue in the bod. Therapists can use the technique to address a variety of neurological and musculoskeletal disorders.

What is an adjustment?
The chiropractic adjustment is a procedure in which trained specialists called chiropractors use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled force to a spinal joint. The goal of this procedure, also called spinal manipulation, is to improve spinal motion and the body's ability to move. - Mayoclinic.org
How the adjustment works
During an adjustment, Dr. Perron will put you in a certain pose to treat your affected area. Using her hands, she will apply controlled force to the joint. She will push the joint past its usual range of motion, to which you may hear popping or cracking sound. Don't worry, nothing is breaking. The popping sound is known as joint cavitation, which is a harmless release of gas bubbles (like carbon dioxide) from the synovial fluid within the joint capsule when pressure changes.

It is important to maintain a regular chiropractic regiment to keep your body on track . Regular treatments can potentially lessen your inflammation, stiffness and increase your mobility. It helps keep the spine aligned, providing good posture, which alleviates complications that could lead to discomfort. Chiropractic maintenance is very helpful for those suffering with arthritis, and for those who regularly sit at a desk all day.
For those experiencing chronic stress
Highly stressed individuals may experience tense muscles, finding themselves with musculoskeletal problems such as headaches, back pain, and neck pain. Regular care helps reduce pressure on the nervous system, allowing the body to relax. Hence it can help with a better night sleep.
